So since last summer I've been working with artists to try to perfect Lilac's almost perfect original design. Lilac's original design is perfect in almost every single way, but the one "flaw" it has is the Sonic-like mascot proportions, which isn't really even a flaw, honestly, but Strife thinks and I think that it's something that holds her original design back from being truly unique and independent from that blue rodent. So I've been trying to "redesign" Lilac's original design by reproportioning her body.

I'm trying to give her a body that obviously has more human-like proportions, but I'm also trying to emphasize the fact that she's a larger-than-life dragon hero, so I wanted to make her
taller than a normal person, but not like too tall, or like weird tall. So I settled upon 8 heads tall as being the perfect height for her. I also wanted to make her thiccer, because when you think about it, she must be really strong if she can karate chop through metal robots. But, like the height, I didn't want to make her too thicc, just thicc enough to be appealing while also getting the point across.

For this first attempt I worked with some artists at Atreyu Studio. I asked them to try to give her a body similar to those that Jaehthebird draws, but in the style of Gashi-gashi. They did a good job with the Jaeh-like proportions, but I think they misunderstood me when I told them what style I wanted it in. I sent them this pic of Lilac to show them what pose I wanted, but I think they misunderstood me and thought that I wanted it done in that style as well.

I like it, but looking it over, I decided that Jaeh's body proportions are a bit too thicc. It just doesn't look like what I see in my head. I figured I'd upload it anyway, though, because it does look nice.
