So, bc I’ve found interest in making different ‘horror’ concepts with Sonic, I’ve made another, this time with Classic. And now that I’ve typed this out, I’m now realizing it seemed like a better idea in my head, but I’m still posting this anyway—

We all know how Classic was used in Generations and Forces, correct? Well, this concept circles around the idea of him being used so often, whether it’s for another upload of the classic games, or being used alongside Modern too. The one whose text is red is a Sega worker who was assigned to take care of him, but ended up abusing him instead for the games getting all the shit they get, or if they don’t make enough sales.

He’s begun to get anxiety, which caused him to start picking at himself (the scars are from his ‘caretaker’, the marks around his mouth are from him, and he’s done it to his hands under his gloves too). One little mistake earns him some form of punishment; what isn’t there to be anxious about in his situation?

By the day, he feels as though he is losing his sanity, until finally, he snaps and ends up making a grave mistake.

The only one who seems to understand is Modern, who will comfort the small hedgehog if he is having a fit of anxiety or will protect him if he makes any mistakes. Well, he used to protect him… now that [REDACTED] is out of the way, he doesn’t need to protect him anymore. But he’s still willing to help his younger counterpart.

Inspirations — Different songs and the concepts of those fangames where it’s Sonic being depressed (although, here he isn’t depressed, just anxious and slowly going insane, as well as having a growing hatred for humanity and his own existence)
