Description
Update: Just wanted to say thank you very much for the DD LaserBeast. And thanks to all the people commenting and supporting my stuff. It means a lotFeel like I need to have more TCG oriented pieces in my portfolio. So I made this one with that in mind. Didn't use any reference for this, should've used some for the cloth perhaps. But oh well. I kind of like how it turned out anyways
PS. Yes I know there isn't a "strap" or similar to the mask. But it looked like shit honestly. I'm thinking it might got burnt on to his face or something, hence the "scar tissue" around it.
DS.
all the best,
Thomas

Hey, he could've just used spirit gum and then claimed to have it burnt onto his face. He felt it lended him a certain villainous gravitas that simply wasn't there with a strap.

Beautiful, I really love this, the colors, the light, the pose and the storytelling feel to it. The only things that bother me are the "brooch" of his cape and (this might sound silly) the spot where you placed your signature. Other than that I just love it, great work!

Thanks a lot!
Now that you mention the signature, it sort of bothers me too. I usually don't put it in the middle of a piece. Maybe I should stick to that

Honestly one of the best oracle figures I've ever seen. Plus that lighting!

nice.
you know, many professional makeup artists use a putty or adhesive to put on masks, without the need of a strap.

Honestly, the lack of strap on his mask didn't even come into my mind until I read your description. I think the strap would have detracted from it. I really love the lighting in this and the character that you've created as well.
