Description
This image was intended as a 'test' from my side. I wanted to see what it would be like if i posted an image, that was so different from my usual ones. At the same time it had to be one of the subjects that are very, very common here on DA.
And pets are one of the most photographed 'things' here.

I also made myself a small 'statistic' for this. The graph (wrong type for this application) depicts the number of favs. that it got per day.
The interesting part is, that it got 3 favs about 2 mins after i submitted it. People are fast, they probably didn't even look at it thoroughly. I know I need to look at least 15 mins at an image to decide if i want to fav it; and even after faving it, i'm not sure if it was the right decision.

I forgot to track the 'views' but as of this editing (11.10.07) it got about 75 and not one really useful comment.

On the contrary: this [link] piece, that I like much better only got 5 views in the same timeframe and not a single comment.

This just tells me, that either you go the route that makes you popular real fast (and deny your own 'style' ) or you 'do your own thing'.
Of course I knew that before already, but wanted another confirmation, so:
I am going to continue doing my stuff. thank you.
