"Battle Group" I did this as a lighting excersise in 3DS Max 7. I just started using it, so I'm just trying to get some practice in. I'm really not much of a Star Trek fan, but the ships just look sweet lol. Works pretty well as a desktop. Enjoy. *The ships were not created by myself! See below*Background - Me (Photoshop CS2)

Love the Excalibur Class and the larger sister ship. Did you design both?

I think the lighting in this Digital Art was done very well and the shading on the Excalibur Class Starship as well as the Prometheus Class Starship were done nicely, too!

I really can't judge as my experience with the whole 3d area doesn't even exist
but I'm starting to learn 3ds max in 5 hours ... everyone just gather round and pray for me

The lighting seems unrealistic and strange, every ship has a different lighting mode. But the textures and render are great, cool !

You did this with 3D Studio Max??!! I had a nightmare just trying to do a simple animation. Then again, I was working on a project at school and we might have had an older program.

I love the Sovreigns but the light on the Intrepid seems way off...

If there's something wrong with this wall, I'm afraid it's not enough to stop me from going "OMG THIS IS TOTALLY SWEET!" By far one of the best Starfleet walls.

The lighting seems inconsistent. It almost looks as though the models are different sizes to give a perception of depth and the light is incorrectly placed.
