After weeks of cold & gray weather, I finally saw a little lamb, looking like he has his doubts about spring, too.....

in the US we have "petting zoos" where the children can go in and pet the animals... they are mostly farm animals like sheep and goats. There are never lambs "just outside" like that. cool

in defense of my people, i must say there are indeed places where the wild lamb can roam free...not just in petting zoos. A vast country, this US....
This is a great capture, by the way. Thrumeye is the only photog who consistently foils my curmudgeonist nature re: pictures of small furry animals. Well done again, and again.
