Hack Job is a character from the web serial Worm, created by Wildbow, a free online story which I'd suggest to any fan of the superhero genre.

Hackjob was a hybrid superhuman monstrosity created by Bonesaw to join the group of roaming, deranged super powered killers known as the Slaughterhouse Nine. Hackjob is the combined parts of former Slaughterhouse Nine member Hatchet Face, the body and main head, and the villain Oni Lee, the head attached on the back.

After Hatchet Face was killed by future Slaughterhouse Nine member Cherish , Bonesaw claimed his body for her experiments. Oni Lee was a deadly superhuman with dual duplication & teleportation powers. When Oni Lee teleported, he'd leave his "original" body behind which can act autonomously for five to ten seconds before disintegrating into a cloud of white carbon ash. He was sought out for recruitment into the Nine but was uninterested, and so he was defeated and kidnapped by them.

With Oni Lee's clone teleportation and Hatchet Face's enhanced durability/strength and (weakened)power nullification, Hack job proved to be a truly deadly adversary. The only reason he wasn't more dangerous, aside from a greatly reduced power nullification ability, was his lack of ingenuity; with Hatchet Face being effectively a mindless automaton and Oni Lee being somewhat conscious but unable to control the body.
