I paint a base color, then go lighter and lighter in chunky sections, then eventually go in and add strands in the lightest color.

The highlights of her fingernails, and the shadows left by her eyelashes - really make me smile. It's minor things like that, that really make this jump out as more polished than most speed paintings.
And that nose is so cute, goddamn.

Oh man, I can't even tell you how much I love this painting. The little girl is so beautiful (her white hair looks so soft, and she reminds me of myself when I was a kid, since I love animals so much), and I can almost hear the deep, slow breathing of the tiger. The image itself is so lovely that I didn't even think about technique or anything at first.
