quickie sketch of my dad, WDP. architect, artist, bane of all waitstaff. Β he's drawing the room around him.when I was a kid he used to draw on the cloth napkins at restaurants. in Sharpie. far from pissing off the owners, they sometimes comped his meal in exchange for the napkins. there are sketches of his in kitchens all over the US, probably Europe, definitely Jamaica.Β
I don't talk much about my dad on dA - but he's an amazing artist
