Yeah, so I guess I'm gonna do that animation for Knuckleduster after all.here's a rough of some junk I did today for the part where Knuckles runs by Tails and then to Mighty and Espio.
I really screwed myself this time. Run cyles are the worst. Mistakes abound. I need more art school. It'd be decent web-quality tho.

Oh yes...walk and run cycles are perhaps, a nightmare
The cycle is good but theres a pop, thats pretty much it.
Oh and Banondorf is right
The Preston Blair book has a LOT great tips on animation.

your dash to the screeching stop is awesome... but you can see during the cycle you've got a pop going. Alot of people have a tough time with cycles, however the run is usually the simplest. Most run cycles are only 8 drawings... If you don't already you should get the animation book by Preston Blair, he has great run/walk cycles for people and four legged animals. Broken down really simply too, I used it to help me in my animations for school and work!

It mite need one more fame, it does seam that he is running backwards at the end

Yeah, it does seem more that he's skipping than running, but it's still very well-drawn and flows together well!
