Nice work! Great concept. I get that the angel (white) has some dark on her wing because you pose the question "is there at least a small amount of darkness within the light or vice versa?" I don't see any white somewhere in the dark version. Since you said "or vice versa" I feel like you should have also included a little light in the dark version.
Great work either way, just a small bit of constructive criticism. Keep up the awesome work!

It's nice... but one thing bothers me. The white angel's face does not look as real as the black angel's face. I suggest changing it. Other than that, it's good.

Thanks. That is the one thing that has bothered me as well and is STILL bothering me. I plan to revisit it asap, though what I'm going to do I have no idea. In this smaller version the face looks blotchy, but if you download it and see the biggest version it looks smooth and normal. So far, no matter the method I've tried this has remained the case, so I'm definately open to suggestions.

I opened it up and did a little more work on her face and added some extra texture, perhaps you could let me know if it appears any improved?

No, nothing was really done to the dark angel's face. Part of the problem with the white angel was that the original image was pretty blurry.

I would suggest super imposing some other face over the white angel and see if it works that way.

But I think it looks really close to my image, the fire one.. it's actually better then my image and that's what I like to see.

Wonderful entry, I love this and love the way that you used my stock fire photo, it's the best that I have seen so far for my flame sock .. well only the second that I have seen so far for my fire stock. BUT VERY nice use of it.. I'm just having an issue trying to find the bird that was used form my stock that you mentioned.. I am just not seeing him/her?

I had to do some re-shaping and erasing on the fire to make it fit just right to how I needed it to be, so its a bit away from what the original was.
Ah, the little bird... he is a bit difficult to find unless you know where to look. Its on the left-most upper point on the Dark Archway.
Now that dA is allowing me to upload images again (at least for now) I hope to upload the larger 9MB version of this image.
