Always liked these two from the very start.
When I first saw the trailers for X and Y, and subsequently both Lucario and Absol in their mega forms, I strangely felt like they somehow belonged together. They've both got this almost Christian theme going on, with Mega Lucario gaining some devilish features and Mega Absol pretty much turning into an angel, and I like that what they stand for (type wise) speak against that; Absol is a Dark Type (or Evil in Japanese) and they are often associated with dirty tricks and a generally evil mindset; and Lucario is a Fighting Type, not rarely used to counter Dark Type Pokémon as they have a type advantage over them.

Adding to that; Absol is considered a misunderstood Dark Type Pokémon, as it isn't actually malevolent. It can sense a natural disaster before it happens, and because it tries to warn humans it is therefore mistaken as a "doom-bringer." An interesting Pokédex entry on this states that "Although it's said to bring disaster, in actuality, this Pokémon possesses a calm disposition and warns people of any crises that loom."
Lucario, on the other hand, isn't actually associated with fighting evil, rather the opposite. One interesting Pokédex entry state that "Its fighting style can be summed up in a single word: heartless."

I thought of this idea a while back, started sketching and scrapped the project as I wasn't satisfied with the (unfinished) result.
Picked it up again during recess in school and touched it up in the computer.
Voila! I'm pretty happy with it. Wasn't planning on the space overlay, but hey! Adds a lot to it!
The original file is called Black & White, but I though Good and Evil was a bit more appropriate.

Feel free to download and use as a desktop wallpaper! It's 1920x1080, hope that's a standard or common ratio.
