It's been a whole year...since I last posted anything on here, though, I did change the set up and my gallery a little while ago.
Honestly, I'm considering deleting my account.
Though, I could completely re-do my dA account...and use it for my fan stories, things I'm writing with Maye and fanart. I dunno though. I've been so busy with my job, college and life...Maye is in the same boat. School and working kinda eats up all of our free time. Not to mention something else...
Around a year ago, I came out as Transgender...meaning I will be transitioning from a female to male. Which, it is a big change. Really big. Maye and her family has been super supportive along with my own family and friends; they never fail to remind me that they love me and things like that. My name is Stefan now, and I use he/him pronouns, seeing that I am a guy. Along with starting hormone injections, Maye and I have been planning our wedding. We've been SUPER busy, lol.
We are still drawing and writing, and are still happily engaged...for those of you who care or read this. So that is good news! We have split the story we were trying to contain, so manny characters, into their own stories. Making things quite a lot easier, as I'm sure you can imagine.
Other than all of that, back to the idea of deleting my account...it just seems like it would take stress away, tbh. I don't really have any fond memories of this website anymore. Just, a few people who don't like me and they seem to be inescapable to come across. Maye doesn't use her dA much anymore for the same reason.
It's kinda sad though. I used to love logging in to share my art and stories.
Times change, I suppose, as you age. I don't really feel like I have the time to be on here, too many "adult things" happening all the time, lol. I'll consider keeping my account, though I will definitely fix it up a bit if I keep it.
Any thoughts on the matter would be appreciated! Hope everyone is having fun and living to the fullest~!

Hey there!
My take is... if you're no longer happy using the site, then there's nothing wrong with breaking it off for a fresh start elsewhere (if you continue to post on a gallery-type site); Weasyl is a good one, if smaller than dA, and creating a second account here for who you are now isn't a bad idea either if you want to keep sharing on dA. Of course... if nostalgia is the only thing tying you to dA right now, and the site otherwise makes you unhappy, there's no reason to create that second account.
I do advise not going as far as deleting your account. Do remove it from your browing history so it doesn't pop up as an option, and perhaps pt your deviations in storage if that might help curb temptation to check up - but deleting is super-permanent and dA doesn't allow reuse of handles even if the account is gone, so it might be a good idea to keep the account in a stored, logged-off form in case you ever do want to return.
Either way, do what makes you happy now - if dA doesn't, then it's definitely time for a break.
