Description
This is the new face graphic for Agent Corruption for my Matrix RPG game. Agent Corruption takes the place of the character "Anome" in the Matrix Online. Which was a storyline that wasn't too bad, but I just didn't really get into. You had to like ... fight these "Unlimit" characters and this Anome guy was a real jerkass who got some "Cheat Codes" and then he had green glowing code-dripping eyes (which was a neat effect). Well, I was so bored fighting thru Unlimits I could tear my eyeballs out! And I didn't pay that much attention to it. So - this character is part of my re-write, and just to make a little more compelling and sensible story.AGENT CORRUPTION:
Agent Corruption was a former Agent Program, (rumored to have been Agent Thompson - but that is not confirmed.) who suffered heavy damage in combat with Zion Operatives and also became infected with the Smith Virus. Following the events of The Truce, The Machines screened their Agent programs, putting them through heavy, and torturous internal scanning procedures, quite literally turning them inside out and running vicious error checking routines through them in efforts to purge them of any remnants of Smith Virus or potentially dangerous and damaged code. Agents that could be recovered where re-formatted and re-purposed. Any left that where unrecoverable where to be deleted. Agent Corruption was one of the Agents who was deemed un-recoverable, and he was to be deleted. But instead of returning to The Source he turned and became a rogue exile. He donned the alias: "Agent Corruption" over his given system name. In fact, it seems like he doesn't recall what is real system name was.
Agent Corruption is very unstable. He has been driven insane by the previous Smith Virus infection and the cleaning process his core code went through. He tends to ramble on in fragments and gibberish and green code literally pours out from his eyes. Somehow he has retained the ability to produce clones, a remnant from the Smith Virus that must still reside inside of him. But these clones are not perfect copies of Agent Corruption himself, they are flawed. His clones are substantially weaker than a normal Agent Program and they can be identified by their green tinted glasses and green neck ties. He also cannot make a clone from a living or active person, if he tries this it will gives him very painful feedback. He can only make clones from the newly deceased. If the person has been dead too long then his cloning process won't work either. Sometimes his clones appear to "shimmer" or thier RSI shell will ripple with static from time to time. Despite these flaws, they are still highly dangerous and Agent Corruption must be stopped!
Agent Corruption seeks out the Neo Fragments relentlessly. He believes that if he can assemble all of them and somehow patch them into his own broken code structure, he can restore himself and it will make him invincible. His instability and violent insanity make him a very real danger. He seems to only make his clones when he wants to incriminate the dealings of The Machines with Zion. He tries to manipulate The Truce and raise tensions between the two factions to divert attention away from himself while he pursues the fragments. Both sides recognize the threat he poses and have joined to hunt him down and eliminate him from the system.
(Agent Corruption is in place of Matrix Online "Anome". Because I thought this might be a better angle for the story and I always hated fighting those stupid Unlimits,
