Description
Ever since my second attempt to create a Steven-Peridot fusion, I've been wondering how a Stevonnie-Peridot fusion would look and act. This is the first time I've had the time to draw in a while, so here is Conniver's Eye.

The most challenging parts of the design were the arms, creating Steven-Peridot's weapon (hands with palms, giving them a much higher mass than the fingers alone - I'm working under the assumption that Peridot's weapon is a set of floating fingers), and colouring the star on Conniver's chest - I only went with pink after adding the sword and shield.

The name Conniver's eye is a portmanteau of CONNIe, steVen and tigER'S EYE (Steven-Peridot fusion). Steven's name affects both the human and gem parts of the name, since he's half and half. Conniver's Eye isn't an actual gemstone. Funnily enough, the word Conniver essentially means 'someone who meets or plots with others in secret', which is the entire concept of Conniver's existence. Not to mention the cross between Connie's glasses and Peridot's visor, which looks a lot like a thief mask.

Conniver's Eye is happy-go-lucky, knowledgeable and always searching for something new to discover, but she is also protective of her knowledge and any information about her fusees to the point of paranoia, going to great lengths to ensure total secrecy. While she sometimes appears panicked when hiding from the other Gems or covering up damning evidence on a short notice, she really has a lot of fun with the challenge.

For now, Conniver is a total secret from anyone not part of the fusion. She could be a good surprise attack, is her reasoning, but really she's a little scared of everyone's reaction - not that she'll admit it.
