Description

This is Raiden, and he is another main character from the "Pigment of Imagination" game/comic concept of mine! Most of the plot is fleshed out in my head, but I don't have a lot down on paper so aspects of the characters are subject to change. Raiden, or "Ray" as he is referred to by his closest friends, is a spunky, brash kid from the town of Pigment Point. He's not the brightest kid around, and he's got a short fuse that is prone to go off whenever something mildly frustrating happens. His somewhat standoffish and smug demeanor may have made him an outcast in many circles, but he's managed to gain the friendship of two other outsiders, Noah and Ashe, who he is nothing but loyal to and will be willing to stand alongside them no matter the circumstance (with the exception of the occasional teasing of Noah, he’s still has a little way to go but he doesn’t truly mean anything).

One fateful night, Ashe drags Ray and Noah into the forbidden depths of the local woods, where in a strange twist of fate the group of teens get wrapped up in a strange world of magic and monsters. Parts of their hair have changed into vibrant colors, they have gained miraculous abilities, and a strange talking lion called Shiro has told them that they have an awesome destiny to fulfill.

Ray has gained the powers of lightning and electricity. Whenever he used his powers, the yellow streak in his hair transforms into electrical energy, sparkling and glowing with a bright light. He can shoot electrical bursts from his hands, can move lightning fast and can give someone a shock by grabbing and zapping them. These powers can be imbued into any object of choice as well, with Raiden choosing to imbue his yo-yos with electricity to do slick tricks while ensnaring foes.
