Description

In these heavens I weep;
A longing to see, to feel, to know
Yet all my secrets, I do keep

In this star-filled sky with my silence and my woe

-verse in a poem I made (not for this character specifically, but still works)

Silence, a mute nightwing born under a single full moon, gaining foresight. On her first hatching-day, her quiet nature was well noticed so it was decided her name would be silence.*
her mother wished a future as a spy; her apparent stoicism and stealth a hopeful indicator of success early on, while her father hoped for a more academic future. Either way, the name fit.
She chose neither path, instead wandering from job to job with no real aim.
She possesses foresight, but it is weak. The only visions she brings forth (typically within dreams) are ones that spell ominous events that are so outlandish or hard to believe that they always go unheeded despite her constant warnings.

Despite her aversion to mind readers, finding her mind a sanctuary that shouldn’t be disturbed, she often relies on them to fully communicate thoughts or needs in social settings.

*A personal head cannon that nightwing dragonets are not named until their first hatching day to get a better judge of their personality and potential career paths. (Only explanation I can see as to why all of the nightwing characters have eerily fitting names in regards to jobs and personality despite supposedly being named at hatching)

one of my first WoF OCs I made years ago, along with Aurora and two others I plan on adding eventually. There are no plans on her appearing in my AU, this is more to finally bring her to life. So excited to finally do so after all these years!! <3
