WELL THIS TOOK FOREVER! Back to gift art...I wanted to draw something fucking awesome that I spent time on, like a lot of it too...So yeah!
Enough Valley girl talk, this is actually based on true story. I had this happen to me yesterday while on Purgatory. And I was effing lucky bullets don't have weird gravity law and they were just shooting above my head. Rocket did to, I could actually see them hitting opposite wall. Eventually, Garrus head shot him, and the mech nuked itself. I managed to switch cover along with Garrus, who just dashed for his life 1st, " IT'S GONNA BLOW!" No shit, Sherlock!
Zaeed lost half the health though. :/ But we managed! Warden was a pain, but that's another story 
Enjoy. I think it's still crap though lol I was going to put speech bubbles, but image speaks for itself. GARRUS, I FINALLY DREW YOU RIGHT! Praise the maker!

You do know that if your fast enough with the sniper rifle you can shoot him with that until the warden is at half health before this boss fight even starts
I got trigger happy on a play through and figured that one out. Not sure if it was a glitch with the Copy of MAss effect 2 I had or what but I abused the hell out of it. The fight wasn't that hard actually because of that little glitch

Hmm, I'll have to re-play it on a harder difficulty. And with sentinel, as infiltrator isn't working out for me and I found soldier boring in ME2... Not enough nifty powers. But yeah, I still had few troubles on Hardcore... (or whatever that difficulty is... God I need to play Mass Effect 2 again...

See this is why being an infiltrator is awesome. Your teamates may be screwed(temporarily) but you are not.
For me the mech loves to just kill them off before me so this would never work for me.
My Shepard is forced to do all the heavy work.

This was totally my Shepard when you meet up with the first YMIR mech in the game. It took out Jacob and Miranda, and I just kept circling around the indestructible cover, firing off a few shots every now and then with the heavy pistol, and ducked behind when it started its firing, thinking "bastard's gotta run out of ammo -sometime-!"

This works fine but facing several of them at Daratar (Faryar system, Hourglass Nebula after helping Aria by giving her a datapad recovered during Garrus' recruitment mission and helping her handle the Patriarch) is troublesome, especially if you play on insanity because Cain can't vaporise all of them at once. So Miranda and Garrus must do the dirty work with their overloads while wait for the heavy charge + point blank Claymore combo (my Shep is a vanguard) in the heavy mech's face!!
