the extra toning time is very much worth it. My first thoughts were "Oooh! looks nice and crisp! Did he chance the style or anything?" Ou stuff was aewsome befor, but this adds a lot more depth to it.

So Mikey still blames RAPH for Splinter's death after all this time? Tch. I guess he's totally forgotten that it was HIS curiosity ABOUT what was IN the package that the cursed katana was in that got that whole mess started in the first place. Maybe this is the beginning of some healing for the family. Well, at least maybe for Mikey and Raph, anyway. Wonder what's gonna happen next in this chapter? I know that, due to your currently busy schedule, we may have to wait awhile between pages, but what's keeping you busy right now for the next 4 weeks is very important to you, and your future. We can wait, bacause as I've said before, this fantastic comic and it's equally fantastic story, are well WORTH waiting for.
Oh, just outta of curiosity, I know you have the whole story plotted out (ain't askin' for spoilers; no way! I wanna be as surprised as everybody else around here!), so I was just curiopus as to how many CHAPTERS that you have planned out for it. But if you don't want to say, that's cool, too. I was just being curious (my nieces would say I'm being nosey! 
And speaking just for myself, I like the new toning style and I think it IS worth keeping it. But that's just MY humble opinion. And hey, maybe once the Gaiden is done, somewhere down the road, you could go back and re-do the early pages of it AND the Prologue in it. Just a thought on my part.
And if I may say, finding this posted today was a real treat. JUST the thing that I needed to lift my spirits after my marathon tooth-pulling seesion at my dentist's office yesterday. So thank you for making me feel better, l'il bro. I sure needed it, even this morning as I'm still feeling a bit under the weather. *pounces/

I like the other style shading better TF, it was more natural looking. This style is more comic book looking. Well, it is a comic...err manga...sorry hehe...but I like the other better.

Wow! O_o That new toning method looks very sharp! VERY sharp. Like it was animated, almost. ^_^ It looks good on my perspective, but if you choose to use it again or not, is completely up to you. I'm very impressed with it.
