Duskfur: Her description says she's a small brown tabby, which was pretty open ended, so I made her kinda stocky in addition to being short with long, lightly curled fur, that's where her daughter Curlfeather got it from. I also gave her amber eyes, I really can't imagine her with any other eye color. I'm so enjoying her in this arc, she's mean but in a local way, love it. I also don't think she's actually involved in any internal Riverclan power struggle, I just can't imagine her killing her daughter and I also have a headcanon Reedwhisker was her mate, so yeah I think it's the young cats plotting, not her.

Graypaw: He's a silver tabby and I really wanted him to look a lot like his grandma, Duskfur, but less curly, but he also has her eyes. He's a big boy though and retains the stockiness.

Mistpaw: She's described as a calico and I did want her to have the curls, but as I drew her, I thought about their dad and how their uncle is none other than Owlnose, so yeah she looks like her uncle and takes after her daddy's side.

Frostpaw: Yep, redraw time! My perception of her has changed yet again, but I'm very happy with this result. She's a complicated character for me to nail for many reasons. She got her gradma's small frame, but not the stockiness, and the fluffy, curly fur from her mamma. She's a color point with a strong blue tone from her father and also her great ancestors, Bluestar and Mistystar. Her eyes are aqua, the blue, of course, coming from her mom's side but the green is carried from her dad's side. Her story went from interesting from just a plot perspective to now I'm also invested in Frosty's outcome in only one book lol.

Cinnamontail and Slatefur: The happy couple! Oh man these two have so much cuteness potential, being present and close during the whole Tigerheart's Shadow stuff. Anyway, Cinny is a bright, glossy coated girl with a super saturated reddish orange brown tabby coat and white paws and come on, of course she needs orange/amber eyes. Slatefur is a color point in a super dark grey with grey green eyes. Please, someone write a short story just about how cute this couple could be!

The Kiddos: I headcanon, unless it's ever stated otherwise, that the oldest is Whisperkit, a grey tom with orange eyes. He looks a lot like his dad, but smooth coated like his mom and he also has her eyes color. The next oldest is Streamkit, a grey tabby girl, she takes after he mom a lot, build wise, but with long fur like her dad and her distant, kittypet/rouge roots gave her blue eyes. Next is Firkit, headcanon, he was named after his grandma Pinenose, His build is like his father, including his long coat and green eyes, but his color and pattern come after his mom and his extra spiky fur comes from his grandpa, Spikefur. Lastly, the little runt, Bloomkit, an oddity as she takes more after her grandma, Pinenose but also heavily from her distant kittypet/rouge roots, making her stand out in the group.

Icewing: Angular, sleek, scared, she trained in the Darkforest lest we forget and yeah this is pretty much how I picture her, boy am I glad she's finally relevant after having these random intimate conversations with main characters for a while now, finally her time to shine! And probably die...we'll see.

Harelight: Such a good boy, and a sweet mentor. Only thing I'll add is I was going to give him a short, stubby tail, but apparently beyond his coat color, his only other descriptor is a long tail? Um, what were his parents thinking?
