Boo, this seems to be crawling into the permanently unfinished pile.It's nicely rendered, I keep reconstructing, but fact is it's awkward/bland. Which really kills things for me.

really nice rendering. i think maybe why you feel its bland is because theres not much variety in color. in the darks on the red armor you could throw in some interesting color choices, and then you could also show other colors being reflected in the armor from the surroundings (not seen). i really like it though, it's not bland to me.
