Blue eyes, blue,and the water's blue.
Your nail polish, blue.
Blue hair swirling around your head,
and your skin slowly turns blue.
Your blood turns blue,
through the chemical reaction that starts
when it meets the blue water.
Your eyes, wide open,
bluely bloodshot.
I firmly hold you under the water surface,
stemming the flow of your oxygen.
Everything is so quiet.
So blue.
Around us the blue fish's swimming.
Your body is relaxing,
your arms stop waving around us.
Your nail polish peels off.
Your blue hair leaches.
One last air bubble
slips from your half open mouth,
past your blue lips,
up to the surface.
