My latest addition to the pony cereal mock-box madness: Spike and Rarity's MOTHERLODE Cereal!The description on the box makes this sound like the most awful cereal ever! And that's why I have a couple recipes so you can make your own Motherlode cereal!
FANCY:
Buy some rock candy gems (like THESE ) and mix with Cocoa Pebbles cereal.
FRUGAL:
Mix 1 or 2 parts Cocoa Pebbles to 1 part Fruity Pebbles.
Add juice, toast and milk, and eat while watching your favorite episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

You might want to change the 'rock candy' to 'marshmellows' unless you're ready for lawsuits from cereal eaters who will chip their teeth and damage their gums on them.

As I've said elsewhere, I was inspired by "Wacky Packages" (Art "Maus" Spiegelman worked on those) and MAD Magazine product parodies. This was a lot of fun and I plan to do more. Stay tuned!
