Description
Kestrelpaw is a small dark ginger tom with yellow eyes, small scars on his front paws and a short tail. He is 14 moons old.

He is a quiet and troubled cat who tends to keep his issues to himself but still has a close relationship with most of the other apprentices. He is very loyal and protective of his clanmates and sees many of them as family.

He is very close with his mentor Buzzardstar, who he sees as a motherly figure, and is good friends with Firpaw, Rainpaw and Stonepaw. He is in a secret relationship with a kittypet named Belle, who he loves greatly, that only Buzzardstar and Rainpaw know of.

Kestrelpaw was an apprentice of Windclan and the only survivor after large twoleg monsters destroyed the camp, with his clanmates fleeing into the tunnels to escape and only trapping themselves more. At the time, Buzzardstar had called a gathering to encourage the other clans to move to safer territory and Kestrelpaw arrived alone with the news that his clan was destroyed. He agreed to join Fallenclan and Buzzardstar became attached to him, later making him her apprentice, and made the journey to their new home. While on the trip, Kestrelpaw was unable to hunt or defend his clanmates as escaping the tunnels and running along the moors in search of any surviving clanmates had damaged his paws and he was forced to rest as long as he could, due to the constant travelling however the wounds took longer to heal and scarred.

Currently Kestrelpaw is still an apprentice of Fallenclan, his injuries have healed and while he is coping with the destruction of his clan much better than before he is still mourning their loss. He is content with life as much as he can be but sometimes wishes his mate Belle were with him in Fallenclan and they didn't have to keep their relationship a secret. He is also wary of the new apprentice and, while polite, is distrustful of their motives for joining the clan.

Kestrelpaw was made with the help of a generator (link below) and while I didn't change his design, aside from adding scars to tie into plot points, I did change his name from Hawkpaw, because I didn't want there to be 2 cats with the prefix hawk and kestrel suited him better with his ginger fur. I love this character alot and before I came up with a real plot and added Risingclan, Kestrelpaw was gonna be the protagonist but now he's gonna be more of a side character.
