Now, at long last, I get to share my latest piece, and what a piece it's been to work on.

A while after Sewell Snow underwent a drastic transformation as a part of a US Navy experiment to become a multi-powered defender of the nation, his best friend Tom Redding, having regretted what he'd initially said about Sewell's new form, having been dubbed "Astro Sewell", decided that he wanted to be be more like him after seeing what he could do. So, Tom decided to join in on the experiment, and he has now also come out of it having become "Astro Tom". After gaining his new form, Tom was having a bit of difficulty adjusting, but Sewell was more than happy to help him through it.

Here, Sewell decided to help Tom with flying, and not just at flying, but at high-altitudes, too. It was already hard enough for Tom to get off the ground, and now that he's in the air, miles about the ground, he's only finding it harder to keep control. Thankfully, as any good friend would be, Sewell is right there beside him, even going as far as to hold his bestie's hand and help him gain control of his flying abilities. The sooner Tom learns out to fly, the sooner he can begin to gain a hold of his other abilities. Sewell, being the friendly and helpful sort that he is, has taken up the role of helping him so that they can soon be an effective crime-fighting, nation defending duo.

Now, this was quite the thing to work on, having incorporated effects I haven't done before, but at the same time, I do feel quite proud of how this piece came together, especially since I now have at least a better understanding of paint.net, having more or less transferred from Paint 3D. Mostly. And when it came to making Astro Tom, I did try to differentiate him from Sewell's form a bit, mainly by giving him a dark blue belt with a round buckle, as opposed to Sewell's green belt with a rectangle buckle. But aside from that, he's still got the black swim briefs and red knee-high boots, on top of the rocket or jet flight, that his snow-furred friend's got. Also, I got the background from one of my flights during Microsoft Flight Simulator, which I've gotten into as of late.
