Well, we're kicking off the Halloween-themed pieces with quite the interesting topic here, and boy, was it it a ride? This was clearly inspired by the 2002 British horror film "28 Days Later..." and its sequel, "28 Weeks Later". In this case, we've got Justin and Sewell, and they've become members of the Infected from that series...A new strain of the Rage Virus has been detected in the New York City, and it's spreading FAST. The government and military try their best to contain the virus by any means necessary. Their efforts are met with little success, and it seems the virus will burn its way through the entire Northeastern Region of the United States. Many were infected with the virus, and unfortunately, our friends Justin Redding and Sewell Snow are among the few who'd fallen victim.
The effects of the new strain, which appears to be able to infect canines, are on full display here. The pair of foxes have more or less lost who they were due to the infection. Things like Justin's overconfident but friendly personality and Sewell's energetic and positive nature have been erased... Now, they're more mindless zombies fueled by an unbridled and uncontrollable rage and aggression neither one had ever displayed before. They are Rage Zombies... Are they still living and breathing? Sure, but Justin and Sewell might as well be dead. Yes, it's them physically, but they're now just two more in a growing army of Infected with their only desire is to infect other beings and kill those who can't. If a survivor doesn't pick them off, they will eventually die of starvation due to the lack of self-nutrition being displayed by Rage Zombies...
Yes, honestly, this is already pretty scary, given how the infected were in both films. And I'd say I did very well depicting Justin and Sewell as being vessels for a virus that will ultimately kill them. Not directly, but still...
