Description
A follow up on www.deviantart.com/timberwolf2… . Inspired by the short film "Blood and Water" directed by Brian Blum and based on true events. Specifically based on the scene at timestamp 15:26.One night, several months following hitting his head on the diving board and nearly dying, Arthur returns to the pool alone to try and get the courage to pull off the dive he'd been attempting previously. This time, he perfectly executed the dive without incident. By the point this drawing gets to, he's swam to the edge before climbing out of the pool and he can't help but let a smile come across his face as he processes what he's done. Feelings of happiness come in that he managed to pull off the dive, and relief that he'd made it through okay. Now, he's ready for the big event he's been training for.

It's was a concept of Arthur as a professional, possibly Olympic-level diver, complete with the wrist braces, the "shammy" towel, and "Speedo" swimsuit. I think it turned out fairly well with what it is, and I hope you like it as well.
