This is one of the few OCs I made that was for running the old Tillie blog on Tumblr.

Name: Jake Anderson
Gender/species: male, smooth border collie
Age: 21
Height: 6' average
Occupation: Tillie's engineer
Relationship: Tillie (girlfriend), Chip (best friend)
Family: Lynda Anderson (mother), unknown of father

Bio:
Jake was brought to the FVR as a means of work by his mother, Lynda Anderson (manager of the railway). Failed to finish college, Lynda insisted he worked on the railway, and to improve his attitude. He would be working with one of the engines on the line. But instead of working with those bigger, his mother already set up assigning him with Tillie. Thinking he could learn a thing or two from the blue engine. Much to Tillie and Chip's dismay, he didn't care about it. So essentially he didn't have a choice and begrudgingly agreed to work with her. Much of was simple things: has enough coal and water, making sure her gauges readouts were fine, and even giving her proper washes and check ups.

After a some time working on the line, he started to warm up to the engine. And often stuck with her. Even keeping her company when Chip was away. He got to known Tillie more. Likes and dislikes, favorite tune of music. Tillie didn't know much of stuff in the real world he lived in, much of it was modern day music like rock and roll, video games, and such. Unbeknownst to Jake, the little engine had been developing a crush on her engineer. But she was rather nervous and anxious on wanting to tell him how her feelings were. When he eventually did find out, he was rather surprised by her feelings and statement that she like him, like him. He understands of her interests on him, and said that they would find a way to work it out. They did, and they're relationship grew into some much more.
