Description Here in this Photoshop fan cartoon crossover mashup concept art done for my new epic in progress Planet of the Toons, which is to be an actual blend of live action and animation both hand drawn traditional 2d as well as the occasional dightal 3d CGI and in the actual technical style of Who Framed Roger Rabbit and the 1996 Space Jam movie, but on a sprawling and truly mammoth epic scale, scope, ambition and sweep that could rival the likes of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings (and New Zealander filmmaker Sir Peter Jackson's three film adaptation of it) especially in terms of its worldbuilding depth, detail and complexity  even if it's also something like a combination of Star Wars, Roger Rabbit, the James Cameron AVATAR films (especially so far) as well as the aforementioned Lord of the Rings, (and even if the title itself was actually a parody on that of a very popular science fiction franchise from the pre-Star Wars era called Planet of the Apes) and after leaving Ten'Jad's Old 19th Century American Wild Western Frontier Town-inspired community of Green River in West Icamer's sagebrush desert country, when three space travelers from Earth that consists of Professor Adams, the eccentric but learned scientist who perfected the near light speed device that made the long distance space journey to the far off world of Ten'Jad, the Planet of the Toons itself, as fast as possible, his daughter Samantha Adams, and most importantly, David Zarus, a young character animation art student who left high school early, and if so, his home world of Earth, after dropping off a 12-year leave permission slip in his high school principal's office (although David Zarus will inevitably, eventually return to Earth and his old high school as merely a guest speaker in a guest speaking assembly where he shows off to the high school teachers, staff and student body that he left behind all kinds of proof from his twelve year adventure in space, eight years of which he will have many adventures on the planet Ten'Jad  especially in the company of the Adams father and daughter and their six toon companions and allies) and after being summoned, along with the Adams father and daughter, to the toon planet of Ten'Jad by An American Tail's cute yet heroic cartoon mouse (or Mau'Gwai) hero Fievel Mousekewitz, whose older sister Tanya Mousekewitz (or rather, her Cathy Cavadini-voiced Fievel Goes West design in particular) had turned out to be the chosen female toon warrior diva who is destined, according to an ancient, local prophecy, to unite the free toon and human peoples of Ten'Jad in the ultimate battle against the Dark Forces of evil that threatens to enslave the very planet that they happen to be on and oppress its toon and human protagonists, as well as to bring about the downfall of the Dark Forces' evil leader, Dexter's nemesis Mandark Astronomenov, the nerdy yet wicked Dark Lord of Tsam Khar, the Dark Tower of the Far North-east land of Ardynut (and also of Dexte'rs Laboratory: Ego Trip infamy) and also to bring everlasting peace and freedom throughout the planet of the toons called Ten'Jad and the universe, and if so, help heal the three astronauts' own home world of Earth, half of which became a bleak, technologically industrial dystopian wasteland, as well as their chimpanzee mascot Geroge, had all learned from Cat R. Waul and T.R. Chula the spider that Tanya and her siblings are coming under attack from Mandark's minions when they try to raid the Green River frontier town that the astronauts and the Mousekewitz family happen to be in, and so must seek sanctuary from Mandark's repeated attacks on the breathtaking Atlantis-like island nation of Atlemûria, which is halfway between the New and Old World Continents of Ten'Jad but actually separated from both old and new world continents by the mighty Val'Jadean Ocean...

David Zarus, Samantha Adams and Professor Jason Adams the astronauts from Earth, George the monkey mascot of the astronauts, and the three Mousekewitz children Fievel and his sisters Tanya (the older mouse girl) and Yasha (the baby mouse girl) (of Don Bluth and Steven Spielberg's An American Tail and Amblimation's Fievel Goes West fame) as well as their kid scientist guide and companion Dexter (of Cartoon Network and Genndy Tartakovsky's Dexter's Laboratory fame), a young looking but rather immortal boy genius  who was actually born along with his taller and older sister Dee Dee in the very beginning of time on Ten'Jad as well as from the need of the Architect and his Mother Nature-like wife Gaia for someone with an eye to see the world of Ten’Jad from a scientific point of view, while Dee Dee was born out of the Architect and Gaia’s desire for an additional eye to see the world through a more artistic lens (before going their separate ways), all just happens to meet two more heroic companions in Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies' Daffy Duck the greedy, cowardly and crazy darn fooled cartoon duck and more famously, Bugs Bunny the rascally cartoon rabbit, in mighty Acme Forest that will round up the number of companions that will deliver Tanya Mousekewitz, the sister of An American Tail's Fievel, to her prophesied destiny that will see Tanya and all of her companions gather the free inhabitants of Ten'Jad, both toon and other real, humanoid and otherwise talking cartoon animal, in the ultimate battle against the Dark Forces of Mandark that threatens to enslave the planet of the toons and oppress all of its inhabitants, especially all those who stand in the Dark Lord Mandark's way...

And right after Fievel had helped save Bugs Bunny's life from a gunshot issued from the hunting rifle of that good meaning but ridiculously hunting-inclined Elmer Fudd while in Acme Forest, of course! (Hence the Rabbit Season sign that was plastered onto the Duck Season sign from the Bugs Bunny/Daffy Duck/Elmer Fudd Rabbit/Duck Season Trilogy of cartoon shorts)

While Fievel and Tanya, Dexter, and David Zarus, Professor Adams, Samantha Adams, and George the monkey mascot of the Opportunity Builders for Intergalactic Systems (OBIGS)' Pilot Program and of the Southwest Intergalactic Vehicle (IGV) Atlantis that took the three brave off-world explorers to the planet Ten'Jad looks on, Baby Yasha Mousekewitz was learning how to walk...even if she was walking towards Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny, both of whom, despite their outstanding comedy relief and rivalry, will wind up banding together with the three astronauts and one monkey mascot, the boy genius Dexter and even An American Tail's Fievel Mousekewitz to make sure that Fievel's older sister, Miss Tanya Mousekewitz the Divine Warrior Diva Toon Girl, gather all the free inhabitants, cartoon and real, human and talking animal, of the world of Tern'Jad in the ultimate battle against the forces of evil who threaten to destroy anyone who stands in the way of the Dark Lord Mandark Astronomenov, who, according to prophecy, Tanya will one day overthrow in order to bring everlasting peace and freedom to Ten'Jad and its toon and human inhabitants, and if so help, heal the three astronauts' home world of Earth.

So, ten companions against the forces of evil led by Mandark of Dexter's Laboratory: Ego Trip infamy, eh? Well, ten companions might well be one more member than the nine companions, aka the Fellowship of the Ring, that were assembled and whose number of companions matched the Dark Lord Sauron's nine Nazgul Ringwraiths in J.R.R. Tolkien's three volume epic masterpiece The Lord of the Rings!

Now, for me to create this mammoth, sweeping and sprawling epic of the Planet of the Toons even come alive on the big movie theater screen (and especially if it were to be mostly filmed in Ultra Panavision 70mm anamorphic widescreen except for certain spectacular scenes and those scenes and shots depicting tall objects, characters or creatures that are also to be filmed in the actual 15/70mm IMAX format like the IMAX scenes from The Dark Knight) and especially as a live action/animated epic film done in the actual technical style of Roger Rabbit and the 1996 Space Jam, I shall also have had to draw upon an indefinitely endless variety of different sources: historical, fictional, personal, scientific, mythical, highbrow, lowbrow, mass market, famous, obscure, and even obvious different sources, especially! But if anything else, if my epic work on Planet of the Toons ever could, should, and would prove to be a very extremely popular success like the original 1977 Star Wars movie (and like Star Wars' first movie 1980's The Empire Strikes Back) and the Lord of the Rings books and movies, and/or especially, even if it the phenomenal cultural impact of my epic work on Planet of the Toons will ever go on to outstrip any of its inspirations, either way, I really do hope, finally that my epic work on Planet of the Toons is going to be to the admittedly small genre of live action human and animated cartoon character interaction special effects stories or films such as, besides or in addition to 1988's Who Framed Roger Rabbit and to some extent the 1996 Space Jam film with legendary basketball player Michael Jordan, what all three books that made up The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien (the South African-born man behind Middle-earth and the old Oxford don who actually wrote The Lord of the Rings) is to the fantasy genre and also what Frank Herbert's 1965 novel Dune is to the science fiction genre: the ultimate created world to be done, hopefully, on a mammoth and truly epic scale, scope, ambition, sweep, depth, detail and complexity. (Hopefully, that is...)

P.S. I had just written down 172 pages of story treatment so far on Microsoft Word for Planet of the Toons, the story treatment for which I will never ever online on the internet at all. As of right now, I am going to finish the Planet of the Toons treatment at up to 750 or so pages in the future, and plus, this is going to be, again, I repeat, something of a very epic work that is also to be, hopefully, to the admittedly small genre of live actor and animated cartoon character interaction special effects films other than or in addition to Who Framed Roger Rabbit from 1988 and the Space Jam movie from 1996 what J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings was to the fantasy genre and also what Dune was to the science fiction genre: the ultimate created world, especially to be done, hopefully on a mammoth and truly epic scale and sweep, and especially in terms of the worldbuilding complexity, depth and detail of its setting.

And hopefully, it shall be the images I could, should and would like to present the world with through my epic work on Planet of the Toons that will hopefully last longer than the later, or recent, contemporary achievements, especially, of what mainstream corporate Hollywood has now become (especially through the utterly destructive actions of Hollywood's most notorious CEO, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO head, and that damned jerk, David Zaslav!)
