Here are the following eight influences that would bestow upon me:

1. Genndy Tartakovsky - The US-based, Russian-born animator behind two of my all-time favorite TV shows, Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack, among other works like the original Star Wars: Clone Wars 2D cartoon, Sym-Bionic Titan and the 2D animated prologue for the recent vampire flick, Priest 3D.

2. Ricardo Delgado - The dinosaur-and-monster-obsessed visual development and storyboard artist behind my all-time favorite comic book series, Age of Reptiles.

3. James Cameron - The Canadian-born filmmaker behind such blockbusters as the first two Terminator movies, Aliens, The Abyss, True Lies, Titanic, and my all-time favorite, AVATAR.

4. Akira Kurosawa - the Japanese film auteur behind The Seven Samurai and Ran, among other Japanese film classics, who is one of the world's greatest filmmakers who ever lived.

5. Peter Jackson - the filmmaker from New Zealand behind the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy, as well as the 2005 King Kong remake.

6. George Lucas - a filmmaker who happens to be the creator of Star Wars and Indiana Jones.

7. Steven Spielberg - one of the most famous filmmakers lving today, as examplified by Close Encounters of the Third Kind, E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, and the 1993 movie of Jurassic Park.

and last, but not least,

8. Craig McCracken - Creator of the Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
