The Nightmare Before Christmas (TNBC) Humanised Character Lineup, at last it's finally complete. And just in time for Halloween! Special thanks to Musty105 for all his hard working on this!. Anyhow, here they are human Jack, Sally, Dr Finklestein, Oogie, Mayor, Boogie Boys and Zero. Now onto the headcanons:

In a small European village, their lived a strange young man by the name Jack Scullington or Skellington to most people. He was known for his love of things scary and macabre related. His favourite holiday of all was Halloween. Jack's eccentric personality made him an outsider to the rest of the villagers, except for the children who adored playing games with him. One Halloween however his house caught on fire from a candlestick, burning him alive. When he came to, Jack found himself in Halloween Town.

Young Sally was a quiet girl growing up, spending most of her time sewing and playing with dolls. She didn't have many friends in her hometown. While most girls her age were out dating hot boys or gossiping about the latest small town news. Sally at one point met a charming older man who took great interest in her. They soon started dating and Sally was head over heels in love with him. But her boyfriend turned violent towards her, when Sally tried to break it off he murdered in a fit of rage using an axe and chopped her into pieces. Sally was sewn back together and reanimated by Dr Finkelstein later on.

A brilliant but misunderstood genius, Dr Finkelstein was your typical mad scientist. Creating menacing machinery and inventions to terrorise local god fearing peasants. Despite his status he was incredibly lonely, throwing himself into his workload. Until he came up with the idea to create his own companion. Using stolen body parts from the cemetery, he attempted to bring live to his future bride. The experiment failed, causing his death as he was crushed underneath the debris in a laboratory explosion. Awakening in Halloween Town with the lost of his legs, he soon set up to recreate his experiment successfully.

Living during the Prohibition Era, Oogie Boogie was a notorious small time gangster with penchant for high stakes gambling. Travelling from town to town, Oogie swindled hard earned money from various people. He eventually came to speakeasy where he played his way up to the private room with the owner. Having beat/cheated him the owner humiliated order that Oogie be "taken care of". His men knocked him out, put him a big potato sack and buried him in the ground where the bugs crawled all over his body. In Halloween Town, Oogie made it his goal to take over all of Halloween.

Unlike most past politicians, the Mayor was never dishonest or corrupt in anyway. He would always follow the rules and never abuse his power. Though he was a good honest man he failed to due anything as mayor due to his hesitance to make a single decision. This caused him to be seen as an easy target to political rivals. Having being taken advantage of his good nature and meek personality, the Mayor's neck was snapped as a result. His afterlife turned out to be a turn for the better as Mayor of Halloween Town with Jack Skellington as the Pumpkin King to help out with his job.

Three orphan siblings (Lachlan, Sarah and Barry) were mischievous troublemakers much to the orphanage staff's displeasure. On Halloween night, the trio went trick or treating around the town. During their route they took a shortcut through the woods and got lost along the way. In the middle they found a strange tree with a Jack o Lantern door carving on it. Giving in to their curiosity they opened it and where transported to Halloween Land. There the three were "adopted" by Oogie Boogie to be his little henchmen under new names Lock, Shock and Barrel.

Before Jack, Zero was a family dog. His owners would sometimes however ignore and often neglect to look after him. One Christmas Eve, Zero chewed through one of the lights from the Christmas tree electrocuting him. Zero's body was buried the next day after they found his corpse under the Christmas tree. As a ghost Zero soon meet Jack Skellington and has since been at his side ever since.
