Tis the slayer of Hoofs herself..jk
To make a long story short why I never do pony stuff...
A good chunk of my return to this old as dirt account was to follow and watch MLP Next Gen drama/stories but alot of the universes and ocs I loved got scrapped/rebooted just plan disappoint me now .. then the show itself totally disappointed me on every level. I stopped watching it before the last season, but saw the last episode because I heard how bad it was.. oof. I mean I could have lived without seeing Twilight and Spike's 'endgame' designs. Painful. Anyway I have a deep love hate thing with MLP. I never connect well with ponies I adopt they often get re homed after I try and fail to make up some MLP content, but this one... I like her and got a story idea within minutes and after 5 years is the only pony oc I felt was worth drawing so I made her a whole ref sheet lol

Rumors of Origin
There is talk among the villagers that the masked terror herself was from among their people at one time but must have been twisted into a slave to do the king's bidding. Others think she is just a foal of the dark king born and raised to be just as evil as he is as they look quite similar. Dark Knight likes when rumors flow and prefers that no one to ever know her, the real her. Only the image she so masterfully crafted among the ponies to keep them in line and in check.
She was once a rock mining simple filly, quite young having only gotten her cutie mark a simple rock...the only thing she ever knew. One day she found something inside a rock, purple energy flowed and spoke to her. She was tantalized by what the voice was offering, a way out of her drab existence. She was taken to the king and with others began training to be warriors, they were altered and given enchanted armor. Dark Knight specializes in poison warfare having a mask built into her armor. This energy leaks from her eyes and can surround her enemies to choke the life out of them or induce madness and chaos. With her horn upgrades she can heal more rapidly and move faster to go in for the kill or get away without leaving a trace. She works alone on assignments targeting the King's enemies, the key players within the crystal empire.

Cutie Mark
Her cutie mark transformed as she was also transformed, the rock becoming more obelisk shaped and the same purple energy that she unearthed now flows across the mark. She is able to cloak the mark at times when not wearing her armor as she does need to do 'spy' work at times and blend in among the normal ponies. It is just a rock again when she wants it to be.
