Nah, if I want it I'll just pay for it and reward the developers for spending their time making something I'd want to use. I'm fine with CS3 for now and I'll upgrade in several years when it really is obsolete. So yeah, no scams for me today.

All rendered logos are used for only certain application only. Such as web, letterheads, business cards, etc. Remember, always design your logo firstly in 2d b/w. If you can make a good looking logo this way, it will only look even better when in colour and rendered.

It won't a 3D logo is for web only... the other versions of the logo should be simple vector shapes.
