When he woke up, he was in the room and later noticed he lost his left arm, probably from the blast? Xark thought himself, he then met Dr. Zomboss his captor and he start Experiments of Xark he torture him and implanting tech modifications on his body, in his prison he manages to escape it using his tech and swore revenge from his captor
