One more of the geese! I wanted to post this one because I really liked the powder blue sky reflecting on the ice.I would also like to stress that, although exploited, no geese were harmed in the taking of this photo.

Hard to believe there's ice in this. The colors are so happy and spring like. I love it.
I can picture a photo manip where you connect a foggy mountain scene to the right hand side.

It was a warm day after a long cold spell. A dusting of snow had melted to wet the ice and the end effect was the ice-covered creek looked like glass. I wish I had taken a lot more pics!

I think our bitter cold is over but we have a long long period of messy just above freezing temps to put up with yet.

yuck. I remember that. The barnyard was especially disgusting because the animals dig it all up. As you walk through your rubber boot all of a sudden gets sucked off because of the mud and your foot hits cold squishy "stuff" that goes between your toes! Eww. You'd think all that fertilizer would have helped me get past that 5 foot mark but no such luck!
I imagine with the mountains it's a lot worse than what I've experienced because it all runs downhill.

Turqoise and brown colours is an delicious combination and the reflections in the water/ice makes it exciting and beautiful... Love it!!
