And now for something (kinda) completely different! This is an illustration I just did as a favour to an old gal-pal. It's for a club night she runs in AK, the theme of this particular one being 'Night of the Living Dead.' I used a photo from an old National Geographic as inspiration for this piece. This was fun to do, i kind went crazy with the linework and spent exactly 0 minutes fixing it up in photoshop, which is close to miraculous for me these days. Ok, i have a proper job to get started on now, so i'll be lying low for a few weeks. Ciao!Related content

hah, no, its just i usually spend aaaaagggeeeeesssss fixing my line work mistakes before the colours. this one i just slapped down and got into it...

And they really do seem to be in a party-mood, nice touch with the bottles and the glass. I like that subtle red highlight, and their facial expressions are great.
(only nitpick: that zombie's shirt in the top right corner seems a bit too dark for the composition, but that may just be my bad old monitor here at work)

why thank you! i've been and gone through my zombie obsession long ago, but i still have a soft (rotten?) spot for the lil' critters... my all time favourite zombie flick has gotta be the original 'Dawn of the Dead.'
