Description
A sperm whale infested with huge coral-like parasites. Kinda looks more like a zombie whale though, maybe mutating after some sort of contamination.Linework done on paper, colors on photoshop.

In my little mind, I thought about the background for that piece, maybe I'll use it for one of my stories : this sperm-whale caught some sort of abyssal disease while travelling in the deep, and started to grow these coral-looking parasites, using the whale's energy as soil, and growing sea-weeds to catch plancton and sunlight. at some point, the whale's body will be entirely possessed by the parasite, making it a creepy, zombified, aquatic vehicle.
Damn, you're both right, it IS sad : x but I kinda liked that "creepy" kind of sad !
