Description
Someone told me that my doves look like pigeons.Is it okay for me to say that doves ARE indeed basically white pigeons ?

Pigeons flying around in a mass like that would make more sense right? I donno they look fine to me! Haha. The only thing that really distracts me is his red high lights on the chest of the beast. It might just be his natural coloring but it really draws my eye to that location. Only problem with that is I think it's the wrong place (for me as the viewer) to have my eye drawn to. Because the background has so much green that his chest is the contrast spot, that is the main focus and it's just his throat and nothing really is going on there except for the stone lock on his harness. I like how the birds really frame the two main characters though. They kinda fly around them in a circle if you add the lady in there it's like they all revolve around the beast. I like the emotion in bolth of their faces, his tongue points to her and her gaze and body language points to him and they pull the attention to eachother visually.
As I stare at this I realize the brightest ammount of color in the background is right behind the beasts head, and the strongest complementary color is right under his chin, with all the birds and the woman they frame the beasts head really well. It's all about his/her torment and expression. The tribal girl adds some story element and activation (along with the birds) but the star of the show is the monster. I think it's really cool, nice work.

And btw, "dove" and "pigeon" are used interchangeably, there many different species of the same genre which are named either "pigeon" or "dove". So yeah, they're basically the same. We just say dove when they're white. Hummm... who told you that? I think I might have an idea...

Aaah thank you, I knew I was kind of right on this one.
Yeah it's a friend we both know, she argued that doves had larger wings or something like that. And I get kind of stubborn when it comes to animal anatomy
