Description
(Video plays from newest to oldest)I attended Animation Mentor for a while, finishing 3 classes. I ended up leaving after struggling to focus through class 3 after starting a new unrelated job. I wasn't using Animation Mentor to its full potential, so if I continued, I'd be wasting it.
In the demo reel, it shows animation exercises from newest to oldest. We start off with a simple bouncing ball, which then grows legs, then a spine, to a full body. So as you watch, it will be like the character is de-evolving. The one I don't like is the bellhop scene. It was just after a long break, so I was rusty and tried to do too much in the 200 frame limit before due. So the pitcher and viking scenes were scaled back in comparison.
As I was deciding to leave, I found I wasn't participating in their community, which is like half the school's benefits. Such as never posting progress updates to the community, or giving any critiques to others. On top of that, I was doing all nighters days before assignments were due, sometimes late. Just too many distractions in my life at that point, plus that new job, so I was just getting by without trying to push myself to get the most of the school. One day I'll join again.

That was really interesting, I had to watch it several times. The ball with a tail is kinda cute!
