Description
The kick-off to the Don Bluth Cyber Garage Project was a competition for designing the owl for the animation project. The winner would have their design used in the animation.

A lot more artist participated in this. We had fun posting all our designs in a WIP thread. Really great artists.

The top left is the final owl I submitted. The character is to not speak in the film, and is a watcher, like an old man sitting on his porch as the day goes by. You can see some of the sketches I went through too.

Like I said, the competition was high in the project, so many submissions and great artists. Don Bluth picked a great winner. Though, he did a list of 6 notable mentions in no particular order and I was one of them, yeah.

Some designs by people where great, but not practical for animation or fitted the character.
