Here's a painting I did awhile back. I was experimenting with different kinds of paint to see how they would react to one another to create different textures. This thing has just about everything in it, Oils, acrylics, gouache, colored pencil... you name it, it's probably in there. Even used an old toothbrush for spattering effects. it's funny, that when I saw this the first thing that came to my mind was a contrast between the vulgar, half-stupid woman that lives for her own image, and the other kind, a smart, cold and thoughtful woman. the idea I got is that the viewer is rejecting the first and more obvious (because it's in cold tones), and getting interested in the "diferent" one of the place, which is painting in warm tones.
of course this is just my interpretation, but I thank you for allowing me to make such a great one.

Wow, I really like this. The colors work really well together, I love how you have the cooler colors in the front and the warmer colors in the back, not often you get to see that kind of work. Excellent job!

Thee is something that I like very much in ur art, and that I think is the + u have beside other artists: The details! Ur art is allways full of details which is very eyecatching and makes the diference between amador and proff, ur proff man!! =o] Love ur stuff! keep on.

I agree with hyperfrec, the two focal points are very interesting. I would comment on all the different textures, but my monitor doesn't support touchy-feely O vision (I feel it lacks somewhat because of this). I would love to see the original so that I could.

Nice experiment, it's great to see how the different techniques integrate perfectly. But I think the best satisfaction is yours seeing how the techniques used combine so well and the good results they give.
