Here's a quick painting I whipped up this afternoon using photo reference from tornglass ('Green Window") for inspiration. Took a few hours. Guoache on cardboard with Photoshop effects. An interesting experiment for me using old and new techniques. I hope you enjoy this somewhat cartoony take on a very nice photograph! Any comments you might have are always welcome. Bluntly I like this picture. The quietly passionate, and lustful image is coupled with shadowy colours to perfection, adding mystery and yet more sexuality to the already seductive female. This is also added to by the soft focus allowing the viewer to make up his or her own mind about the intentions of the person whos point of view you are taking.
Is he/she in love with the girl, or is he simply caught up in his/her personal lust beyond seeing the flaws of the human being.
