So, after the Rainbow Dash animation, Arc Light commissionoed me via UKoE to animated a loop for him of his OC. So here he is, filling himself back up with coffee from a pump.If anyone's interested, it's Β£7 a second.

Well, I charged this guy Β£6 per second, but when I worked out how many hours I put into making it and compared that to the national minimum wage (Β£6.50p/hr), I realised I was kinda getting ripped off, and figured Β£7 was probably a better deal.

On the one hand that's a pretty high minimum wage.
On the other hand I shudder to imagine the cost of living in the UK.
Which will be a problem if the internship program at my university sends me to London for the summer.Β

Yeh, there's been a movement in the UK to try and make the minimum wage a level that people can reasonably expect to pay rent, transport, bills and food costs on, ie - a "living wage". They've worked out that the wage should be Β£7.85 p/hr for most of the UK, and Β£9.15 p/hr in London, just to reflect the cost of living. The UK's not exactly the cheapest place in the world to live.
I'm trying hard to not move back in with my parents when I graduate, but it looks like - even if it's just for a couple months - I might have to for a short time, just because rent's so high. And I'm not even in London.
