I don't use manoeuvre that way because it's Frenchish and I have no idea why Britons insist on using that spelling. It doesn't make sense, what with the centuries-old enmity the two countries bear for each other.

For one, I try not to use the word at all. For two, Manoeuvre looks like "man-oh-eh-uh-vruh" (with the 'r' rolled slightly in the back of the throat) to me, and I choke up on the whole frenchness of it and eww.
