I promise, the next deviation I post, I WILL plan it ahead of time, do something about the unkemptness, and cut out some unnecessary color expenditures.The coloring looks really juvenille.

Romeo x Juliet. Beautiful anime. Two thumbs up. If I was born with more, I would raise all of em. I hardly ever nearly teared up watching a climax of a show. This one nearly made me cry.
I finished with all 24 episodes of em. I love almost every single one of 'em. I love Gonzo's alteration of Shakespeare's adaptation.
This depicts the near final scenes. Kind of. Except for the fact that they both DIDN'T fight Montague in the anime (he died from a very stupid cause o.O). But I think this is the way they should end it, not from that maniac Orphelia... Romeo and Juliet - clad as Red Whirlwind - join forces and kick-butt the wicked Grand Duke together.
Well, I kinda like the anime version too. So, what the heck <33
I'm not really trying to promote; I'm not the kind of romantic geek person either. But this anime struck me with a bull's eye.
Photoshop. Few hours. Almost half of the time spent lagging (I'm serious! It took, literally, 5 whole minutes just to save. And I saved it ALOT. Curse my irrational paranoia.

i like how it looks scethcy,*spelling...* and you can see pencle marks and what not. i think it gives it its own nature
i also think the two bottom most ppl are really well done, the person with blue hair and the man in the bottom left thought its not clear whos fighting whom, it is a buteful picture :3 and one of my favorits

Oh yeah, I love this anime like amazing! It's definitely one of my faves~ And I totally agree, as dramatic as the whole evil!Ophelia stuff was, I wanted to see an all-out battle against Montague, and definitely with the Red Whirlwind.
Your drawing may be kind of messy, but I think it looks great. I love the dynamic poses, especially Red Whirlwind jumping in... how cool. I'd love to see this tag-team battle animated!

Yep, well you said yourself its a bit unplanned. But that can be good to get some of the energy or a piece down. I dont like images that are super clean anyway
What I would say is put the the characters from the background on layers, that way you can be more in control and can help to seperate up the image. At the moment its hard to tell the foregrund from the background.
Theres lots of nice action and jumpin around, so you're not afraid to do interesting poses
Havn't seen the anime, need to make some time and catch up !

when a work more clean ? because i think "RxJ" cleaner and with more light and shadow than this version, and it could be amazing !
