Description
Something I drew in the spring. Trying to make it look like a natural blend of human, lion, and bird, rather than clearly distinguished lion body, human face, bird wings. It bothers me when fantasy creatures look really choppy like that.~no hind legs because this was just a rough sketch and I'm lazy~
Kind of went overboard with silly brushes and layering, hope this doesn't look too garish.

I *like* all the layering, and there's something about the colors of the brushstrokes that makes it look like an engraving. It's really nice--and you can really see the muscles where the wings attach; it really does look like a coherent, unified creature.
