Licorice is a unique hybrid of a clown and a mime. His father is a mime and his mother is a clown. Unfortunately Licorice is not very good at being a mime or a clown. He's a very boring clown. His only skill is juggling which doesn't seem to "wow" the audience very much. Mimes are suppose to be able to create invisible walls and objects. Licorice has tried many times but cannot seem to use his psychic abilities. Because of this Licorice struggled to find his place in his family's circus. He joined Kill Joy and Jack because they were misfits like him. He felt like he fit in with them.

Licorice is the less evil of the trio. He doesn't hate humans but he does take his frustrations out on them with pranks. His pranks are not harmful like Jack's, just inconvenient and not funny. Licorice is the voice of reason when things get out of hand. He will try to act rationally and keep everyone under control. Kind of hard to do though when one has a temper and the other is completely insane. Despite being involved with these two "bad" clowns, Licorice is actually pretty chill once you get to know him.
