Description Everytime I see the ending to Super Mario 64 when Princess Peach gives a kiss to Mario on the nose, I think of a certain moment in Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. You know where Snow White is giving all the 7 Dwarfs a kiss before they head out of the house? Yeah, that's basically how I thought of this crossover idea.

I've left this crossover drawing on hold for many months now, so I decided to finish the piece off today. There might be some things I may have to go back to since some parts of the colouring doesn't make the overall picture stand out 100%.

This is what happens when you have majority of your markers not working well while wanting to contribute so many drawings at the same time.

They actually DID make a Super Mario version of Snow White. In 1989, while the Super Mario Bros. Super Show was airing episodes that were parodies of various movies, plays, or books in America, a three-part anime series called "Amada Anime Series: Super Mario Bros." was released only in Japan. Each "part" was released on a separate VHS, and much like Super Mario Bros. Super Show episodes, were based on something else, in this case, a fairy tale (but unlike the Super Mario Bros. Super Show, whose episodes were parodies, this series consisted of actual re-tellings of the fairy tales they were based on). One of those "parts" was a Snow White re-telling. In it, Mario is the prince, Peach is Snow White, Bowser is the Queen, the Dwarves are seven Toads, the Koopalings are the Queen's minions, and Luigi is just Luigi.

Funny you should make this. To me, the original Super Mario Bros on the NES has the same kind of impact as Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Both revolutionized their media (Snow White for animated films and Mario for video games), both were created by known innovators (Walt Disney and Shigeru Miyamoto) and they become known as the greatest of their kind. At least thats the way I see it.

Interesting idea.
Now I wonder who would make up the dwarfs.
Lets see...

Mario as Doc: both leaders
Luigi as Bashful: he can be kind of shy
Wario as Sneezy: both produce power winds
Waluigi as Happy: [link] he's smiling, isn't he?
Yoshi as Dopey: both don't really speak
Bowser as Grumpy: do I even have to explain it?
A Toad as Sleepy: all they ever did was lay around for Mario to rescue them to tell him that their princess is in another castle
