Description
This is very highly inspired by various Ivan Seal paintings! I found out about him after discovering "Everywhere at the End of Time". Which was...an experience, to say the least.Going through his paintings, I found this odd little item among them. rca-media.rca.ac.uk/images/fif… SO WELL...I turned it into a weird character. XD
P.S. owns Delilah!
-------------------------------------
Fifer Onzunge is an artist.
A fourth--perhaps fifth dimensional being that had taken the form of a bizarre stone sculpture as he entered this dimension (with the unintentional help of the Dwarves' scientific meddling, of course.) He doesn't have the power to find his way back home--but he really doesn't want to. Those plebeians are so quick to dismiss his art as minimalist hackery. Perhaps because he had conceded that his work is best enjoyed by three-dimensional eyes.
----------------------------------------
His work primarily revolves around concepts like visual agnosia--dementia--and other ways in which people lose their ability to recognize things. As a result his art is not entirely incomprehensible--but still befuddling to behold. And as said before, best appreciate from a third-dimensional perspective, whose minds ARE capable of degrading to this point.
To most entities like Fifer, we're no more important to them than insects are to us. However...among humans, entomologists exist. And so do beings like himself that still choose to analyze the imperfections of humanoid minds. As a result...he treats people with a surprising amount of respect. They ARE his best audience after all.
------------------------------------------
And then there's Delilah. The Menehune girl who works the front desk at the Gizmo Guild. She's seen many things during her time there that would cause most other Menehune back at home to freak out! Technologies beyond imagining, glimpses of worlds beyond Cauldron, and even real life aliens! She's been getting used to it!
But well...she finds this to be a little much.
NOT because he's an extradimensional entity warping the local geography into confusing sculptures.
NOT because he's causing internal conflict among the Periodic Golems, who have differing opinions on his art.
...but because as pleasantries, he decided to give her flowers.
And she's never seen sadder looking flowers in her life.
--------------------------------------------
"I call this piece Adultery bi prenontspliver. I heard humanoids give their women flowers as pleasantries, so please enjoy."
"...eh...not that I don't appreciate this gesture mister...Fifer? But uh...why are you giving me dead flowers?"
"Wait are they not supposed to look like that?"
