The roads had swamped far enough for the crocodiles to swim right up to the carts. It was treacherous but Wrest had to go- and so he applied himself. With every ounce of his powers he held the many beasts at bay as he worked his way through what was now marshland, eager to get back onto the city's cobblestone.

MENTALIST: Mentalists are reoseans that bring magic not only into the bond they form, but also other creatures. While their telekinetic powers are the most apparent, they're also able to project images onto another's mind or use their power of harmonizing - invoking a certain feeling in someone else. Menatlists are the only Reoseans able to 'talk' to humans without a bond.
